Inspirations - Spring / Summer 2011 Collection
The spring / summer 2011 collection is rooted in the essence of the designer's visions: geometric shapes, clean lines and rich materials. Like a cubist artist, Denis Gagnon juggles with dualities and dimensions that are diametrically opposed to create a new world where the symbiosis of differences is the norm. Nature and the urban landscape are greatly exploited: it is an homage to futuristic and organic architecture. The creation of flowing yet structured silhouettes, dotted with metal chains, zippers and fringes. Leathers and jerseys bring a fragile plastic configuration that is surprising and innovative.
For Denis Gagnon, this metaphor is the culmination of a career spanning 10 years, 10 years of experimentation, perfecting his techniques.
